Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity. To be honest, I used to stop to watch/listen to Ben Whishaw read out a restaurant menu or the town council meeting minutes, so I always watched this. There are some very good performances from the supporting cast in Black Doves and only those and if you like black humor then this series is a must watch. Ella Lily Hyland as Williams and Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor are mesmerizing in this role and play my two favorite characters. As for Kathryn Hunter as Lenny Lines, we can just say that her performance is great. Add to that all these great set designs and theatrical staging and it’s an absolute success for me.
